Christopher Robert Evans, born June 13, 1981, is an American actor. His first appearance on television, Evans played characters like Opposite and sex during 2000. After appearing in numerous teen movies, including Not Another Teen Movie in 2001, Evans became famous for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics Character the Human Torch. Evans made further appearances in film adaptations of comic books and graphic novels: TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). The film gained him more recognition due to the role he played as Steve Rogers / Captain America in various Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as well as Captain America: Civil War and the ensemble films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). The Marvel films helped him become one of Hollywood's highest-paid actors.
