Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress who works in film and TV is most well-known for her roles in films such as Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu, Alexandra started her professional career in the show business from a young age. By the time she was sixteen, she had secured prominent roles in a variety of TV dramas. Following her highly acclaimed performance in the television film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went into other notable parts, including Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, in Downfall. Downfall won an Oscar and won critical and commercial great success. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also nominated for Oscars. Alexandra's work has led her to be involved in a variety of significant national and international productions. They include British biographical films like Control and The Dust of Time as in addition to the French historical miniseries Napoleon. Also, she was on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, and also at Cannes Film Festival.
